Atlanta Music Project Announces City-Wide Instrument Donation Drive

Instrument Donation DriveStarting Monday, July 18th the Atlanta Music Project will host its first-ever city-wide instrument donation drive. The drive will take place over a three-week period, ending on Saturday, August 6th.

“Instruments make up 30% of Atlanta Music Project’s program expenses,” says Executive Director Dantes Rameau. “Every instrument donation that we receive helps us serve more kids and further our mission of enacting social change through music.” After the conclusion of the donation drive, all instruments will be appraised for value, and a donation receipt will be mailed to the donor’s home for tax purposes.

Instruments accepted: violin, viola, cello, bass, flute, piccolo, clarinet, bass clarinet, E flat clarinet, oboe, english horn, bassoon, contrabassoon, trumpet, french horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba, snare drum, timpani. String instruments accepted in all sizes. All instruments must be in playable condition.

To Donate An instrument:

From July 18 to August 6, you can drop off your instrument donation at the locations below during the following days/times:  Mondays 11am-2pm and Saturdays 9am-12pm. Donations will also be accepted at AMP’s summer concert on the evening of July 22nd.
