Braeden Weyhrich
Braeden Weyhrich is a conductor, educator, and performer based in Atlanta, Georgia. She is active as a woodwind clinician in the metro area, serving as a Teaching Artist for the Atlanta Music Project and as a sectional coach at several public schools. She also plays in Tara Winds and serves on several local, national, and international committees for Tau Beta Sigma, Sigma Alpha Iota, and Women Band Directors International. A graduate of Georgia State University, she recently earned her Master of Music in Wind Band Conducting and served as a graduate assistant with GSU Bands.
Prior to moving to Georgia, Braeden was the band director at Hinton Community School in northwest Iowa, where she taught and administered all aspects of the 5-12 band program. She was also the Assistant Conductor of the All-America Concert Band, Librarian of the Sioux City Municipal Band, and served on several district and statewide committees for the Iowa Bandmasters Association. Braeden earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education and Honors College Degree from Oklahoma State University, where she was recognized as an OSU Alumni Association Outstanding Senior.
