Donate An Instrument

As a music instrument donor to the Atlanta Music Project, your gift will have an ever-lasting impact on a young person.

The Atlanta Music Project loans a music instrument to each student in the program. Importantly, students are able to take their AMP instrument home for individual practice, a key component of developing musical proficiency.

Through your support, the music instrument becomes a vehicle for musical and personal development, unlocking life-changing opportunities for the young musician. For example, we have had students gain acceptance to college using a music instrument that was donated to the organization.

We know how sentimental a music instrument can be to you, its owner. Therefore, we are incredibly grateful to all of you, our music instrument donors, for your willingness to give your instrument to AMP to be shared with one of our budding young musicians.

We will gladly accept the following instruments, in working condition:

• Violins, violas, cellos and double basses of all sizes
• Flutes, clarinets, oboes, bassoons
• Trumpets, trombones, french horns, tubas

Unfortunately, we are unable to accept pianos, percussion instruments, guitars, electric basses, organs, or saxophones.
