Matthieu Clavé is a French flutist, educator, and cultural storyteller based in Atlanta. He serves as principal flutist of the Rome Symphony Orchestra and performs as a guest musician with the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra, bringing his signature blend of precision, warmth, and contemporary artistry to stages across the Southeast and Europe.

At the Atlanta Music Project, Matthieu inspires young artists with a modern, holistic approach to flute education. He is also the founder of The Soundscape Series, a salon-style performance platform created with Francophonie Atlanta that champions underrepresented composers and global musical voices. His newest production, “Le Chevalier de Saint-Georges: The Sword & The Bow,” a multidisciplinary exploration of the extraordinary life of Joseph Bologne, is scheduled for Spring 2026.

Beyond the stage, Clavé is a REALTOR® with eXp Realty and an active member of the American Federation of Musicians. Whether performing, teaching, or guiding families through Atlanta’s neighborhoods, his mission remains the same: to elevate, connect, and empower communities.
