Dr. Yuliya Kim
Cello Teaching Artist
Cellist Yuliya Kim is a freelance cellist in Atlanta, GA. Previously, she was a Section Cello member for the Lansing Symphony Orchestra and Michigan Opera Theatre as well as being a cello faculty member of the Flint School of the Performing Arts where her students were regular scholarship recipients. Dr. Kim earned her Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Michigan State University in 2020 where she was a student of Suren Bagratuni. She previously completed degrees at Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida and at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan in her home country.
