Amber Taylor is an emerging singer/songwriter/arts advocate hailing from the South Suburbs of Chicago. Amber’s experience with music goes as far back as 1995 singing in her church. Amber mastered her skills at Mount Holyoke College where she was also a Five College Ethnomusicology Certificate Recipient. During her collegiate experience, Amber had the privilege of participating in a domestic exchange at Spelman College where she was a featured soloist for the Annual Morehouse and Spelman Christmas Carol Concert in 2011.

After graduating from Mount Holyoke College, Amber returned to her hometown to create and collaborate with influential artists along with civic agencies to advocate for social equity to those who are disenfranchised or overlooked in both creative and social justice spaces. Amber currently resides in Atlanta, GA where she serves as the Associate Director of AMP Academy for the Atlanta Music Project (AMP). There Amber manages logistics for the AMP Academy composed of 26 music studios serving over 65 students and families. Amber is thrilled to be serving in a position that influences the next generation of creatives and patrons of the arts.
