Breanna Johnson is the Director of Choral Programs at the Atlanta Music Project (AMP), where she blends her passion for the arts with a deep commitment to youth development. Raised in metro Atlanta, Breanna cultivated her love for the performing arts through her involvement in choir and dance, experiences that inspired her journey into performing arts and arts leadership.

Breanna earned her Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Howard University, where she received classical voice training as a soprano. After graduating from Howard, an impactful internship at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts sparked an interest in arts administration and in supporting young people through the performing arts.

Since joining AMP in 2017, Breanna has played an instrumental role in the growth and achievements of the AMP Youth Choirs program. Such achievements include growing the program to serve 75 young singers from across metro Atlanta; preparing the AMP Senior Youth Choir, AMP’s most advanced choral ensemble, for major performances at events, such as the 2022 Georgia-American Choral Directors Association Conference, the 2024 Chorus America Conference, and the 2025 Pro Musica International Choral Festival in Albany, New York; and being a part of the team that led the AMP Senior Youth Choir to win gold in the Open Competiton - Youth Choirs Category at the 2024 World Choir Games in Auckland, New Zealand.

Through her work, she hopes to continue sharing the transformative power of music and the arts with young people.
