The AMP Preparatory Concert Band consists of ensemble classes for the following concert band instruments: flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, french horn, trumpet, trombone, and percussion, serving students in grades 3 to 6. These group classes are designed for students interested in making friends while learning and performing music in a concert band setting. No experience is needed. All instruments and class materials are provided by AMP.
Registration Fee: $50/child/year ($25 for siblings)
Tuition: Thanks to our generous donors, all participants receive a full scholarship covering tuition fees.
Classes begin on August 31, 2026 and end on April 28, 2027
Weekly Class Schedule: Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00pm - 6:15pm
