Orchestra Audition Boot Camp

In the summer of 2026, the FIFA World Cup – the most widely viewed and supported sporting event in the world – comes to the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

The city of Atlanta will be hosting eight World Cup games, with each one bringing the equivalent number of visitors and economic development as a Superbowl.

To tap into the excitement and celebration around the World Cup, the Atlanta Music Project is pleased to be putting on a unique, one-time-only event: the Atlanta Music Project World Music Festival. Our goal is simple: to share with the world the talented, young musicians of the Atlanta Music Project.

Taking place in June of 2026, this one-time-only festival will consist of public concerts and music camps for young musicians. All World Music Festival music camps will be offered tuition-free, as is the case with all of AMP’s programs. Tickets to the World Music Festival concerts will be free and open to the public, but will require a reservation.

AMP’s World Music Festival music camps will take place at the AMP Center for Performance & Education. For more detailed information regarding AMP’s World Music Festival music camps for young musicians, please continue scrolling below.

The AMP World Music Festival replaces the AMP Summer Series for 2026. The AMP Summer Series will return in 2027.

The AMP World Music Festival will put on three major concerts during the month of June 2026, each one taking place the night before a World Cup match, and featuring music from the two countries competing against one another the following day. All major concerts will take place at Glenn Memorial United Methodist Church.
