AMP Youth Choirs

About AMP Youth Choirs:

The AMP Youth Choirs are the most advanced vocal ensembles at AMP and are designed for young musicians who are already proficient singers.

Performing both standard choral music and songs representing the culture of the communities we serve, it is our goal for the AMP Youth Choirs to become one of the top youth choir programs in the country.

The AMP Youth Choirs consist of two ensembles: the Junior Youth Choir and the Senior Youth Choir.

Rehearsal Schedule:

All AMP Youth Choirs students attend two (2) rehearsals per week:

AMP Junior Youth Choir Schedule:

Level: Intermediate

Wednesday 6:30pm – 8:00pm
Saturday 9:00am – 11:00am

Young musicians in grades 6 – 8 should apply to audition for the Junior Youth Choir. Based on the audition results, students will be placed in the choral ensemble that will be the best fit for their musical abilities and musical maturity.

Level: Advanced

Wednesday 6:30pm – 8:30pm
Saturday. 9:00am – 11:00am

Young musicians in grades 9-12 should apply to audition for the Senior Youth Choir. Based on the audition results, students will be placed in the choral ensemble that will be the best fit for their musical abilities and musical maturity. High school musicians who are not placed in the Senior Youth Choir may be offered the opportunity to join the Junior Youth Choir.  

Requirements and Audition Repertoire:
