A short time ago the marvelous supporters of the Atlanta Music Project were offered the opportunity to come together to help launch AMPlify, a new choral program. The campaign was wildly publicized, being featured in www.artsatl.com and on Fox 5 news, not to mention hundreds of “shares”, “likes” and tweets on social media networks.
Even celebrities used their voice to promote the campaign, with hip hop legend Nas, soul jazz songstress Julie Dexter and The Walking Dead star Lauren Cohan encouraging their twitter followers to donate. The end result? Over 200 donors gave a whopping $21,365 to launch AMPlify.
The Atlanta Music Project wishes to sincerely thank its campaign backers, without whom AMPlify would not have been possible. Stay tuned, Atlanta is about to be AMPlified!
