On Friday, February 23, our Voice Faculty performed in their first recital, a part of the Music of the African Diaspora Festival Concert Series!
The repertoire for this dynamic evening of music spanned across genres, languages, and styles, showcasing pieces exclusively composed, or arranged by artists hailing from the Africa and the African Diaspora. Participating voice faculty included: Laura English-Robinson, Keeyen Martin, Pamela Dillard, Josè Montañez, Ibukun Babalola and Chanell Childers. It was an honor to witness them take the stage, as much of their work with AMP is behind the scenes- pouring their time, talents, and support into our students day in and day out.
