Finally, concert week is upon us! Here at the Atlanta Music Project, the ten-plus hours a week our students spend in our classes is always geared toward an upcoming performance. The performance is not just the reward for all their hard work. It’s also a lesson is preparation and results. Our students are quickly developing an understanding of the old adage
“The more I practice the luckier I get.”
The correlation between preparation, practice and the resulting success (or lack of success) is an important one. As part of their Atlanta Music Project education our students experience this correlation through performance and come to understand this important life concept.
With that, I invite you to the Atlanta Music Project Orchestra Winter Concerts this week! Both our Coan Recreation Center and Gilbert House sites will be performing separate concerts. Concerts will feature our orchestras and choir. Below is the concert information. Both concerts are free and family friendly and donations are encouraged.
