Atlanta Music Project Returns to Monica Pearson’s One on One Holiday Special
Gather your loved ones, grab a warm holiday drink, and get ready as we are pleased to announce that, for the fourth year in a row, AMP will be featured on the Monica Pearson One on One Holiday Special!
The one-hour segment will air five times throughout the holidays, including Christmas Day. Mark your calendars for the dates and times! The segment will also be posted to YouTube.

This year’s episode will feature delightful performances of holiday favorites and more, by the AMP Senior Youth Choir under the direction of Keeyen Martin, and the AMP Senior Youth Orchestra led by guest conductor, Jordan Owen. The orchestra will be joined by guest musicians from local college music programs. Organist Cliff Frierson performs with both ensembles.
AMP alumni Lailah Dozier (AMP ‘22, violin) and Imari Welcher (AMP ‘23, voice) will be interviewed by Monica Pearson about their time at AMP and the impact AMP has had on their lives.
AMP’s appearance on Monica Pearson One on One is always a pivotal moment, providing an opportunity to share our work with a broader audience. Our young musicians relish the chance to record in a professional setting. Our sincerest thanks goes to Ms. Pearson, producer David Tallarico, and the entire team at Peachtree TV. Monica Kaufman Pearson is the first woman and first minority to anchor the daily evening news in Atlanta, Georgia, where she worked for 37 years at WSB-TV. She now hosts and produces Monica Pearson One on One. Previous guests have included Mayor Andre Dickens, Atlanta United FC, and rapper Yung Joc. The hour-long program is shown on Peachtree TV/ WPCH-TV in Atlanta.
